May Knitting Classes & KALs

Love Child Shawl (Teacher: Ms. Candy) 60$

Designed by Barbara Benson and featured in her new book Mosaic and Lace Knits. This shawl is a combination of mosaic knitting and basic lace work, which would look amazing in lightweight spring yarns.
Class Dates: May 6, 13, & 20, 11am-12pm
Skill Level Needed: Adventurous Beginner

Poison Oak Scarf (Teacher. Ms. Candy) 30$

Who’s ready for a bit of stacked knitting? If you’re looking for a healthy challenge that will end in a heck of a conversation starting scarf when you weave in those last ends this is for you. Don’t be intimidated, stacked knitting just takes a bit of patience, and a bit

KAL starts on May 6 for 6 weeks, 1pm-2pm
Skill Level Needed: Advanced

Nine Dwindling Cables Hat (Teacher: Ms. Candy) 15$

This is an amazing looking beret style hat that reminded me of a dahlia the first time I made it as a gift. The cable process on this wonder is intriguing, your decreases to shape the hat are hidden within the cables, until they dwindle down to just a few stitches. Make it for spring with lightweight fibers, or go ahead and start preparing for winter and break out the wool, this one is going to be worsted weight and will work up fast.
KAL starts on May 6 for 3 weeks, 3pm-4pm
Skill Level Needed: Adventurous Beginner

Lacy Pinstripe Cowlette (Teacher: Ms. Candy) 60$

Designed by Barbara Benson and as well featured in her new book, this cowlette has all of the style of wearing a triangular shawl wrapped “bandit style” without all of the fuss of doing the wrapping. Worked flat to start with the piece is then joined to knit in the round in this fun mesh pinstripe pattern. (You must have the book to be in the class, it's not available as a single pattern)
Class Dates: May 10, 17 & 24, 5:30pm-6:30pm
Skill Level Needed: Intermediate

May Crochet Classes & CALs

Meandering Paw Prints Scarf (Teacher: Ms. Sheila) 40$

Have you been looking for a scarf pattern that shows off your love for animals without making you feel like you are wearing a child's design?? The Meandering Paw Prints scarf pattern fits that bill and will work for a Dog or Cat lover equally.
Class Dates: May 9 & 16, 11am-12pm
Skill Level: Beginner

Table Lace Placemat (Teacher: Ms. Sheila) 40$

This very pretty lace pattern will make a quick gift for Mother's Day!
Class Dates: May 9 & 16, 1pm-2pm
Skill Level: Intermediate

Wrapped in Warmth Shawl (Teacher: Ms. Sheila) 30$

The shawl will grow in length a little quicker than it does in height which makes it wonderful because it will give you enough to wrap securely around you comfortably. I wanted a shawl that I could throw over my shoulder and it stayed put.
CAL starts May 9 for 6 sessions, 3pm-4pm
Skill level: Easy

Mother's Day Necklace (Teacher: Mr. Danny) 45$

This class will teach you how to design a unique piece of jewelry with an assortment of beads in various sizes. You will learn how to put the necklace together with a simple crochet chain stitch. (Materials included)
