What is the Fiber Cafe?
An every day service for you!
It's Fiber Cafe time! Come in and bring your project. For $10 you can join our Fiber Cafe for two hours every day. We have coffee, tea, water and cookies waiting for you, as well as one of our knitting/crocheting professionals to make sure you get help with your project! We have a dedicated time for Fiber Cafe every day:
Tuesdays: 10:30am-12:30pm
Wednesdays: 1:00pm-3:pm
Thursdays: 1:00pm-3:pm
Fridays: 2pm-4pm
Mother’s Day Jewelry Show
Saturday, May 6, 10am-5pm
The jewelry Nancy designs is meant to add to your sparkle factor! Everyone feels better when they are near things that inspire. Nancy has a long time love of gemstones and minerals. Most of the beads she uses are taken from Mother Earth herself! She has a fondness for whimsy and have recently acquired some Frozen Charlotte Doll heads that were unearth in Germany where a doll factory was in operation in the mid 1860s!!! Findings are natural died leathers, sterling and silver plated.
High Tea and a Yarn Tasting
Saturday, May 13, 1pm-4pm
Bring your mother or grandmother or come by yourself for this special event at Yarn Rhapsody! We will offer traditional High Tea with cucumber sandwiches, scones and cupcakes! Enjoy this afternoon with a sweet group of people. ALSO, you will "taste" ten of our new summer yarns. And get a 10% discount on any purchase and special order that afternoon. Register soon, space is limited to 12 spots. Cover charge for the high tea is 15$ per person.
Yarn Rhapsody Fashion Show
Saturday, May 27, 12:30pm-16-30pm
Participate at the Yarn Rhapsody fashion show! You will have to register your project(s) not later than Friday, May 26, 2017. The yarn for the project had to be purchased at the shop. We will have a team of judges that will look at your project. You can bring any project that you are very proud of. We will tag (please remember the pattern name and the yarn you used) and categorize your project. Multiple entries are allowed, more chances to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize! Each participant will receive a goody bag and participate at a raffle!
